KindleはiPad miniで読んでいます。
主にコミックを。最近は小説も読むようになりました。
コミックは部屋に収まらなくなってきたのでその対策、という面もあります。
今は「ちはやふる」「マギ」を買っています。
で、4/1にマギの11巻がKindleで出たので早速ダウンロードしようとしたのですが...。
ダウンロードがなかなか終わらない。
と思っていたら、Amazonから下記のようなメールが届く。

To free up memory, you can connect your device to your computer to remove items you no longer need. Note that a copy of Kindle content you purchase from Amazon is kept at the Manage Your Kindle page on Amazon.com. This Amazon service securely stores all of your Kindle purchases and allows you to retrieve them if you have previously deleted them from your device.
Once you free up space on your iPhone or iPod touch, the waiting items will be automatically delivered to your device.
To remove an item from your iPhone or iPod touch, follow these steps:
With the device connected to your computer, select the device icon in the iTunes sidebar. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the icon to show the contents. Select a content area, such as Music or Movies, then select the items you want to delete and press the Delete key on the keyboard.
You can see how much space is now available on your device by following these steps:
Choose the settings icon, then General, then About. The Available row shows how much memory is free on your device.

えー要約すると、
「こっち頑張って落とそうとしてんだけど、おめぇんとこのKindle容量少ねぇんじゃね？要らないヤツ消しちゃってよマジで。こっちで残しとくからさぁ」
ってことらしいです。
iPad自体の容量は十分にあるみたいですけど、アプリ自体で持つことができる容量はそれ以下みたいですね。
何だか微妙な気がしますが、まぁ仕様だから仕方がない。
コミックは画像データな分、小説などのデータに比べると容量を消費します。
まぁ、いつでも再ダウンロードできるみたいなのでいいですけどね。
